Hou Yi
Legendary Archer
Hou Yi is the main character of Ten Suns. Known as the God of Archery, he took pity on mankind and answered their prayers to fell the Sun Gods.
Hou Yi is armed with his legendary bow, along with a lantern that absorbs the Sun flames. His gauntlet is a gift from Dijun to protect him from the Suns.
Yu
Minion
Yu are minions of Yao, Yu appear in groups and attack Hou Yi on sight. Shooting them down allows Hou Yi to absorb their flames into his lantern, which can be used for other purposes.
The design of Yu is based on a Lotus Flower and an ancient chinese meteor hammer.
Yao
First Colossal Sun Bird
Yao is one of the Ten Colossal Sun Birds. His name means the numerical "1" as the first of the Sun Birds that Hou Yi will face on his journey.
The ring that hovers behind it is the symbol of a Sun Bird.
